Our company

Our group consists of three companies, HRP Hungary Kft., BSC Kft., and HRP Szerviz Kft. The group of companies employs a total of 180 people. It is one of the leading distributors in the Hungarian IT market, and is also renowned internationally.

HRP Hungary Kft. was established in 1991. Its primary activity is the distribution of hardware products. Business Software Center Kft., which was incorporated four years later in 1995, is involved in software distribution. HRP Szerviz Kft., formerly the repairs business unit of HRP Hungary Kft., became independent in 2004, after a demerger. Its main activity is servicing the products distributed by the other two companies.

The premises of the three companies is situated near the centre of Budapest. The building also consists of a 2000 m2 warehouse and a 2000 m2 office area, and has 50 parking spaces. The stocks in the central warehouse of the group of companies is replenished from an external logistical centre that can be expanded indefinitely, and which delivers even large orders within 24 hours.

The group of companies has evolved against a background of fierce competition, and has become a solid and professional organisation that continues to develop dynamically to this day. Sales revenues have risen steadily since 2000. In 2007, the group of companies generated revenues over HUF 28 billion. The revenues of HRP Hungary Kft. exceeded HUF 19 billion, while BSC Kft. contributed HUF 8.6 billion. The group of companies has generated profits every year in the past decade.

HRP Hungary Kft. distributes the produces of over 50 manufacturers in four main fields:

BSC Kft. is involved in the distribution of the products of over 30 manufacturers, including some hardware companies as well. Main partners: Microsoft (OEM, hardware, XBOX), ACD Systems, Adobe, Borland, Computer Associates, Corel, Juniper, Kaspersky, Labtec, Logitech, Morphologic, Novell, Nero, Nuance, Pinnacle Systems, Saitek, Scriptum, Symantec, TomTom, Total Commander, Vivendi Universal Games, Websense, WinZip.

In 2007, HRP Hungary Kft. launched a new range of products for its desktop PC’s under the Intensa brand. The creation of Intensa owes a lot to the direct supply sources based on the well-established relationships of HRP with manufacturers of high-quality components. Motherboards and graphic cards from manufacturers such as ASUS, Foxconn and MSI guarantee performance on par with that of branded workstations. All configurations and parts used in the centralised public procurement procedure passed the Microsoft WHQL compliance test. All Intensa PC’s are supplied with three years of comprehensive on-site and service network warranty, provided by HRP Szerviz Kft., a member of the group of companies.

The group of companies has over 2,000 partners listed in its database, representing nearly 85% of the Hungarian IT market. The list of dealers comprises system integrators, independent dealers and retail chains. The group of companies is the market leader in hardware sales to multinational retail chains, including such prestigious names as MediaMarkt, Auchan, TESCO, ElectroWorld, Cora, Office Depot, and Photo Hall.

Both HRP and BSC have strong connections with credit insurer Euler-Hermes. The HRP Group imports directly from manufacturers. All purchasing procedures are conducted in compliance with Hungarian laws and taxation regulations.

The majority of the employees are involved in sales and product management. Over half of them have higher education degrees and a sound knowledge of English. Forty percent are younger than 30, resulting in a dynamic and sales-oriented team.

The HRP-BSC Group intends to continue to be a significant player in the Hungarian IT market and promote the business success of its partners through distributing the high-quality products of internationally renowned IT manufacturers, backed by offering comprehensive technical support for them. We aim to improve the quality of Hungarian IT culture, satisfy customer requirements to the fullest possible extent, and develop and maintain close and good relationships with our partners, including offering a wide range of services, such as a modern e-store, free delivery*, customised PC configurations, high-quality repair service, and product and technology related trainings.
