Shopping in the webstore

We strived to equip our webstore with functions and search solutions that will help you find and purchase whatever you are looking for quickly and easily. This brief guide is intended to make browsing through and shopping in our webstore even easier.
If you should not find the solution to your problem with using the webstore, please do not hesitate to contact our administrator at webadmin@bsc.hu.

The process of buying

Only registered reseller partners may buy products in our webstore, but you can browse through our range without having to register. To place an order, however, you will need to log in using the login name and password you receive in the course of the registration process. If you have not registered yet, click on “Prospective partners”. Registration is free. If the data you specify satisfy our requirements, we will notify you of having become our partner.

• Log in at the top right corner using the user name and password you received after registering.
• The link to the webstore is in the top menu row.
• After entering the webstore, use the navigation panel or the keyword search to narrow down the product list.  
• You can place items in your basket by clicking on the basket icon at the end of the row. The rows of products that are already in your basket are displayed in a different colour.
• The prices shown in the webstore and the on the website do not include VAT.
• In the “your basket” window at the top right corner, you can specify the number you wish to purchase of each product at the start of each row. Once you are done, click on the “change” button next to the number.
• To remove an item from your basket, hover the cursor over the number and click on the “delete” command that appears.
• To view the details of the contents of your basket, click on the “basket details” link at the bottom of the basket in the top right corner.
• You can still change or delete the rows of your order, specify if you would accept multiple deliveries, whether you require home delivery and if yes, for what date. Once you are done, click on “submit order”. You will receive a confirmation e-mail shortly.
• You can leave the detailed view of the basket and continue browsing by clicking on the “back to the list” button. The contents of the basket remain unchanged, the data of the selected products will be stored, and you can add new items to your basket in the manner described above.
• You can track your orders on our website under Partner information / Orders.
• The delivered goods will only be handed over to people whom you have recorded in our system as authorised to accept deliveries.

Search / narrow your results using the navigation panel

You can easily narrow down the list of products displayed in our webstore using the four columns of the navigation panel: manufacturer, primary product type, secondary product type and tertiary product type. You can use any of the first three to narrow down the product list. The rest of the windows display the product list that gets dynamically shorter as per your criteria. You can specify a tertiary product type after selecting the secondary product type.

Keyword search

Instead of browsing, you may opt to use the search bar in the top right corner. You can search for product name, identifier, manufacturer’s item number, description, manufacturer or product category.

Product list

Click on the + sign at the start of each row to open a new line containing further information on the items in the product list. You can close the information line in the same fashion. By clicking on the + sign in the header line, you can open or close information lines for all displayed products.
Click on the identifier or name of a product to open a detailed product description. This page contains two tabs. The first one contains a brief description of the product. The second tab contains the parameter list of the product (provided the data have been uploaded). You can compare these parameters within the same category, or use them for filtering later searches.
The header row of the list allows you to order products by identifier, name, stock and price. You can specify ascending or descending order by clicking on the arrows next to the criterion in question.

Comparing products

Tick 2 to 4 products in the product list and click on the “compare” link that appears in the first row of the list. The products will be displayed in a new window, arranged in columns. Scroll down to the bottom of the parameter lists to add the selected product to the basket.

Used products

The list of used products contains the stock of the second hand product warehouse. Please note that you cannot submit an electronic order for items in this list, and the list is refreshed every morning, therefore it may not show the current stock.
